Roe Green Play Park is a vital local community resource for our children, but it is at risk of closure.
The existing equipment is in urgent need of refurbishment. Parts of the play area are becoming dangerous and, due to its age, equipment cannot be replaced so Salford City Council has already taken sections away. The council has limited funds available to repair and upgrade the park. Much needed money is required in order to make the park a fun and safe place for our children to play in once again.
We are a charitable company set up by a committee of enthusiastic local parents aiming to raise £100,000 to refurbish the whole play park. We’re looking to raise funds through a variety of
- Charitable donations
Our main goal is to refurbish the play park and return it to it’s former glory and once again make it a safe place where our children can
